Marty Evans-photo2014

What a great accomplishment for Rear Adm. MARTY EVANS, U.S. Navy (Retired) Chair, Audit Committee, on being named non-executive chairman of the board for Atlanta-based global management consulting firm North Highland. During Evans’ 30-year career with the U.S. Navy, she was one of only a handful of women to reach the rank of Rear Admiral. Don’t miss hearing her story during Generation W.  Click here to read the full article regarding her appointment as non-executive chairman of the board for North Highland.

Way to go AUDREY MORAN, Baptist Health Senior Vice President for Social Responsibility and Community Advocacy, for being honored with a 2015 Humanitarian Award from The OneJax Institute at the University of North Florida. The honors are for those “who have demonstrated the highest level of personal and professional integrity, have given generously and extensively and have been dedicated to the improvement of human relations” among the Jacksonville community. Click here for a list of other honorees and you can hear more from Audrey during this year’s Generation W.

Congrats to PATTI MINGLIN, a member of the Generation W team who lives in Chicago, on being named part of the cast for Listen To Your Mother (LTYM) Chicago. LTYM shows in 39 communities throughout the U.S. and gives voice to motherhood—in all of its complexity, diversity, and humor—in the form of original readings performed live on-stage by their authors. The Chicago show is scheduled for May 3. Click here for a list of all local shows and their dates.
