#PassTheLove to U.S. Women’s National Team

Pass-the-love-tridentWant to show your support for the U.S. Women’s National Team as the squad prepares to compete in the world’s largest women’s international soccer tournament?

Mondelez International, maker of Ritz, Chips Ahoy and Trident, has launched a socially charged campaign, #PassTheLove, to rally fans across the country to share their support.  The campaign launched in 2014 in support of the U.S. Men’s National Team ahead of the competition in Brazil and is now focused on the U.S. Women’s National Team, which will head to Canada in June to face the best national teams from across the globe.

“The U.S. Women’s National Team has inspired the entire country with some of the most memorable performances in sports history, so our brands want to return the favor by rallying consumers behind the 2015 team,” said Stephen Chriss, Senior Director, North America Consumer Engagement and Marketing Services at Mondelez International. “We hope #PassTheLove becomes a rallying cry for fans and a way for these amazing athletes to see how much support they have here at home.”

How you can #PassTheLove

  • Online at PassTheLove.com: Fans can go to PassTheLove.com to share a message of support from their social media channels directly to the Wall of Support. Posting a message allows visitors to automatically get entered to receive instant-win prizes – such as snacks, U.S. Soccer jerseys, gear and other giveaways – that will be awarded hourly all the way up to the competition.
  • At U.S. Soccer Games: The Fan Wall of Support has “come alive” at two Send-Off Series Games and will be at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ, on May 30th.

“People always ask me whether players actually listen to the positive messages we get on social media – and the answer is yes, we love it,” said U.S. soccer star Alex Morgan.
