NASCAR’s Diversity Awards Honors Program Headed by Gen W Speaker Dr. Richard Lapchick

rel headshot copyThe University of Central Florida’s DeVos Sport Business Management program, headed by Gen W speaker Dr. Richard Lapchick, was recently awarded The Institution Award during NASCAR’s Diversity Awards Luncheon.  The program was honored for its efforts in educating students on how sports can help create a more diverse and inclusive society, along with the responsibility of using sports to make a difference.

Dr. Lapchick will be part of a panel discussion on “The Conversations We Should, Would or Could Have, But Don’t” during Generation W 2014.  Joining Dr. Lapchick on stage will be moderator Tiffany Dufu and panelists Pamela Culpepper and Melinda Wolfe.
