Morning Show Anchor Takes Viewers to Mammogram Screening

News4Jax Morning Show anchor Melanie Lawson, who just turned 40, took viewers with her as she embarked on her first mammogram screening. The screening process, which took place at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, was easier than Melanie had anticipated. “The good news: It was faster than I imagined, only taking a few minutes,” said Melanie, who has been a Generation W speaker.  “The process was less invasive than I had envisioned. I was mostly covered except for the breast being imaged. Before I knew it, my first mammogram was over.”
