A startling statistic: 2,700 students enrolled in Duval County Public Schools are homeless.

The I’m A Star Foundation is hosting a charity basketball event on July 22nd to help raise funds that will help provide assistance for homeless students in Duval County Public Schools. The Jacksonville HELPS event will include a basketball tournament for high school players followed by a celebrity basketball game that will include many members of our Generation W community including Donna Orender, Shelia Seymore-Pennick, Lakesha Burton, and Darnell Smith who will be serving as one of the team captains. Click here to grab your tickets now or visit the organization’s website for more information.
