Generation WORKS: Young Men’s Leadership Academy Eugene J. Butler Middle School

As we prepare for Generation WORKS on February 4, 2017, we will be featuring some of the agencies and projects we will be working with to transform the city of Jacksonville and the lives of the people who are part of our neighborhoods and communities.

Young Men’s Leadership Academy Eugene J. Butler Middle School

As one of the newest magnet programs, the Young Men’s Leadership Academy at Eugene J. Butler offers single-gender classroom experiences to its students beginning in 2015 – 2016.  The school is divided into two academies, boys and girls, both with its own set of administrators to provide maximum support to students.

They believe that all students are gifted and talented.  Their methodology is grounded in training young men to discover their strengths and to overcome challenges. By doing this, young men accept and achieve their greatness. The Young Men’s Leadership Academy at Eugene J. Butler will continue to strive in building a community where a world-class education is valued and treasured. Every student will be prepared for success in college and or a career as well as to be honorable productive citizens. Click here to visit their website.

During Generation WORKS we will be doing a campus clean up around the track and back of school, including trash pick up.  In addition, we will be creating bulletin boards to display positive examples of leadership and service.
