Generation WORKS: Sulzbacher Center

As we prepare for Generation WORKS on February 4, 2017, we will be featuring some of the agencies and projects we will be working with to transform the city of Jacksonville and the lives of the people who are part of our neighborhoods and communities.

Sulzbacher Center

Sulzbacher Center is Northeast Florida’s largest provider of comprehensive services for homeless men, women and children. They are one of only a few centers in the nation to offer a full range of services for the homeless 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In addition to serving nutritious meals and offering safe shelter, Sulzbacher Center also provides outstanding health care and high-quality children’s programs.  They also have job placement assistance and life skills programs to equip men and women for employment and success.  But, most importantly, they offer something simple and necessary–hope. During Generation WORKS we will be preparing hygiene and personal care packages and stuff/assemble donation letters and other administrative tasks at Sulzbacher Center.
