First Woman to lead Jacksonville FBI Set to Retire

The first woman to lead Jacksonville division of FBI will retire in September

Klimt, the first woman to lead the Jacksonville division of the FBI, has announced she will retire in mid-September. “I am equally proud of the strong working relationships that we have developed with our federal, state and local law enforcement partners,” Klimt said in an interview with the Times-Union. “I retire with the utmost confidence that this team will continue to build those partnerships to ensure safer communities across North Florida.” Klimt took over the division in 2013 after serving 24 years in the agency.
