Comedy Central Continues to Showcase Comedic Female Talent

Abbi-Jacobson-and-Ilana-Glazer-in-Broad-City_event_mainBroad City, a half-hour scripted comedy centered on two female friends in New York City, was recently renewed for its second season on Comedy Central.  “There’s so much good female comedy out there and a lot of it is on Comedy Central,” says Broad City‘s executive producer Amy Pohler in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.    According to the article, the show is on track to becoming “Comedy Central’s highest-rated first season since 2012 among younger demos, including adults 18-34 and men 18-34.”
