Carla Harris Takes Her Gospel Music to Germany

DSC950030Generation W speaker Carla Harris is not only one of the 75 most influential American women, but—as she revealed to us during GenW—she is also an accomplished singer. She has released several successful albums, performed two sold-out concerts at Carnegie Hall and, on Easter weekend, she joined the Furstenberger Male Chorus “Sintfeld Chorporation” for the musical liturgical celebrations at St. Mary’s Church in Furstenberg, Germany.

“We are very pleased that we have managed to be able to win such a fantastic gospel singer for our liturgical celebrations,” said Monsignor Georg Austen in a press announcement.   “This enables us to [build] a bridge that connects our faith around the world. Perhaps as new friendships are established.”

During her Generation W presentation, Carla encouraged us all to always bring our authentic selves to the table. “No one can be you the way you can be you,” she said. “You must have an expectation that you will do well, that you will succeed.”

And, succeed she continues to do. We are inspired by you, Carla Harris!
