JT’s strength & positive attitude led to the creation of the JT Townsend Foundation, an organization that provides adaptive equipment to people with disabilities on the First Coast. Carmen is part of the foundation, even after JT’s death, helping with recipient applications and continuing JT’s mission.”⠀

Lee Knapp – My MOM!⠀
“Years ago, my mom was appalled at the thought of homeless children going without any presents at Christmas time. She gathered a few friends together to stuff about 100 Christmas stockings for children at a homeless shelter. Stockings 4 Kids has grown to be an annual event (with children stuffing stockings for other children!) to provide more than 3,000 stockings to homeless children in the Lee County area of Ft. Myers, Florida! She is showing kids that even THEY can make a difference in the lives of others!”⠀
