Paul D. Kalsbeek, EVP & Regional Group Head, Wells Fargo
Paul Kalsbeek is an executive vice president and regional group head for the Wells Fargo Regional Commercial Banking offices (RCBOs) in the Southern Region. Based in St. Louis, he manages offices in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. Paul is also a member of the Wells Fargo Management Committee.
Paul has been in the banking industry for more than 25 years. He began his career as a relationship manager for Continental Bank in New York City and Chicago. He then became executive vice president and head of corporate banking for Commerce Bank of St. Louis. He joined Wells Fargo in June 2000 and started up the RCBO in St. Louis.
Paul earned a B.S. degree in economics from the University of Wyoming, followed by an M.B.A. from DePaul University in Chicago. Prior to that, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps, attached to the U.S. Department of State, Foreign Service, and completed tours of duty in Tananarive, Madagascar and Tel Aviv, Israel.
Active in many community and professional organizations, Paul currently serves as
a trustee of St. Louis University, and as director of the U.S. Marine Corps Heritage Foundation. In the past, he has been active with the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis (COCA), the Churchill School, Dance St. Louis, the Metropolitan YMCA of St. Louis, the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation, and the St. Louis Sports Commission.
