Laura Angelini is general manager of Baxter’s chronic renal business, where she leads a fully integrated global team committed to transforming renal care with innovative technologies and business models for home and in-center dialysis patients.
Prior to joining Baxter, Laura established a proven track record of driving growth across several global businesses at Johnson & Johnson, where she assumed positions of increasing responsibility. During her 25-year tenure with the company, Laura led strategic transformations of both startup and mature businesses across emerging and established markets globally.
Most recently, she was the global platform leader for the DePuy Synthes Joints, a Johnson & Johnson business. Laura also served as president of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, a role that included leading the global marketing and strategy organization and the North American commercial organization. During her time in Vision Care, Laura led a portfolio transformation, returning the business to market-leading growth. In 2015, Laura was named the female executive of the year for the optical industry by Vision Monday magazine.
Laura volunteers her time as an active member of the Parents’ Council at the Jacksonville University, FL., which provides guidance on key issues and is a liaison for the administration.
Laura received her degree in foreign languages and literatures from the University La Sapienza in Rome.
