Debra Goldfarb

Head of Alternative Television, Gersh Agency

Debra Goldfarb began her near 30 year career as a trainee in the infamous mailroom of the William Morris Agency. As a young agent, she built her career by representing and staffing on camera talent, production companies, producers, directors, and also packaging shows in the burgeoning unscripted/alternative/reality business for the network, syndication, basic and pay cable outlets. After nearly eight years at WMA, Debra joined Creative Artists Agency, where she helped launch their alternative reality department and proudly represented clients across all genres of content, including primetime, late-night, daytime, news, sports, and animation. In 2001, and after nearly fifteen years working with the largest agencies, Debra became a partner and co-owner of Rebel Entertainment Partners, Inc. (Rebel), where she and her team packaged programming and/or represented the creators or showrunners of content including numerous successful series such as “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”, National Geographic’s “The Story of God with Morgan Freeman,” Comedy Central’s “@midnight”, MTV’s “Cribs” and “My Super Sweet Sixteen,” VH1’s “Mob Wives,” “Brother’s” starring Michael Strahan on Fox, and Fox’s “Rebel Billionaire, with Sir Richard Branson,” just to name a few. And, in exciting news, Debra is very proud to announce that she has recently joined The Gersh Agency as Head of Alternative Television.

Debra has been married for over twenty-eight years to her best friend, David Goldfarb, has three daughters, is a die-hard sports fan, and is a proud alumnae of the University of California Los Angeles. GO Bruins!
