Akila Raman-VaseghiManaging Director, Goldman Sachs
Akila Raman-Vaseghi is a managing director in the Americas Financing Group within the Investment Banking Division. She has responsibility for the firm’s midstream and downstream energy and utility clients across both Investment Grade Capital Markets and Corporate Risk Management, helping them raise new capital and optimize their overall capital structure with respect to interest rates and currencies. Akila is the co-head of the Princeton Investment Banking recruiting team and serves on the Americas Financing Group Mentoring Committee. Previously, she was member of the Corporate Risk Management team for ten years with client coverage responsibilities across a number of industry verticals including natural resources and technology, media and telecom. Akila joined Goldman Sachs in 2004 as an analyst. She was named managing director in 2015.
Akila serves on the Board of Trustees for the Cap & Gown Club of Princeton University, is the Co-President of the Princeton University Tigressions Graduate Board and is an alumna of W.O.M.E.N. in America.
Akila earned an A.B. in Politics and a Certificate in Finance from Princeton University in 2004.
