Coming Out Monologues (COM) returns to Jacksonville for its sixth annual production of our award-winning storytelling project!

COM is community-inspired, community-created and community-led. Each year, COM is comprised of all new monologues created by actual community members telling their ‘coming out’ stories; stories of falling in love, falling out of love, making sense of self, making peace with family, overcoming the struggles in the journey of self-acceptance…all told within the context of LGBT lives and experiences. COM is best described as social activism through theatre; creating ripples of change each time we take the stage.

For our sixth anniversary production, we promise you artistic and moving monologues as well as creative staging, with stories that are brought to life right before your eyes. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your support this year, as well as each year prior. Because of YOU, COM has raised over $50,000 for JASMYN and PFLAG while also providing an outlet for stories that might not otherwise have been told.
