23rd Annual Child Abuse Prevention Luncheon & Conference

2016 Event: “Connecting The Dots”

The Link Between Child Abuse & Human Trafficking

Human trafficking of a child is one of the most serious forms of child abuse. It is occurring in every state in the United States. As of June 2015, there were 191 cases of Human Trafficking reported in Florida; 364 cases in Florida in 2014.** This year’s conference will bring experts in Human Trafficking and Child Welfare together to discuss the links, explain the signs, and show how to put a stop to child human trafficking.
